Terms and conditionsUse of the Living Collection website and the products/services offered implies that you understand and agree with the terms and conditions outlined below. Living Collections is not responsible for minor errors or minor mis-representations of furniture due to typos. Major errors will be assessed on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to update our prices. Delivery scheduleAvailablity and delivery schedule are estimates only. We will notify you if an item is on back order to arrange for a later delivery date. We have 2 delivery time frames. Morning delivery time frame is from 9am - 3pm and evening time frame is from 3pm - 9pm. Our driver will arrive sometime between your selected time frame. We can not guarantee a specific time due to many circumstance we can not control. You are welcome to call on the day of your delivery to get a closer time estimate. You can also request that we call you 1 hour before your delivery so you don't have to wait at home.
Lead TimeIn-stock merchandise is usually delivered within 5-10 business days, though some may take longer if they are on back order. Once your order is submitted, a customer service associate will contact you within 24-72 hours to schedule a delivery date and time.
Each custom upholstered item is made to order and requires extra production time. Production time varies from vendor to vendor and is contingent on fabric availability. Once your order is submitted, a customer service associate will contact you to discuss the details of your custom order. Once your custom order item is received in our warehouse, a customer service associate will contact you to schedule your delivery date and time. Delivery OptionsDrivers are not responsible for moving your old furniture or clearing your room. Please have your hallways/rooms empty with ample space for bringing in your furniture otherwise a redelivery will have to be scheduled and a redelivery fee will apply.
Side walk drop off: Side walk drop off is a discounted delivery service where we will bring the item to the front of your home. Keep in mind some items are heavier than others and may require additional help to be carried inside. It is advised that you make note of this and make the necessary arrangements. Our driver’s will not assist you in carrying the furniture piece/pieces into your home. In house white glove delivery: We will unpack, assemble and put the furniture piece in the room of your choice for items that are delivered using our in–home delivery service. Packing materials will also be taken away so you don't have to lift a finger!
NOTE: We are not responsible for merchandise not fitting into your home, the color does not match your decor, or you simply changed your mind. Dimensions and color variations are appoximate only, and are not considered defective. See RETURN / EXCHANGES /CANCELLATION.
Freight ShippingFreight shipping is used for deliveries outside our service area. Living Collections takes full responsibility for locating a freight company and providing the customer with a quote. Upon agreement of the quote, Living Collections with the authorization of the customer will dispense any and all information needed to complete the delivery shipment. The freight company will contact you directly in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. Freight shipping usually requires 7 to 14 business days after leaving our warehouse for arrival to your location. Additional Freight Fees:Be advised that freight services such as lift gate trailers, inside delivery, delayed storage, and re-delivery will have additional fees and are not included in the original shipping fees or quote. To prevent any further charges from the freight company it is strongly recommended that someone be present at the time of delivery to accept the merchandise; if not, the freight company may charge you an additional fee which is independent of any fees assessed by Living Collections. Before signing for your delivery, it is very important to inspect the carton for any potential damage that may have occurred while in transit. If the driver does not allow you to inspect the package, please note any external damages on the receipt and also state "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the notes, which will allow you 48 hours to contact us and/or the shipper regarding any damages upon opening the box Important: Living Collections is not responsible for any damages during transit or discrepancies found after the package has been accepted upon delivery via a third party freight company . All fees involved in shipping are non-refundable. Sizing of doorways and spaces are the responsibility of the buyer and is subjected to any and all applicable fees stated in the return policy. Return / Exchanges / Cancellation
Returns: Regularly stocked items are backed by our satisfaction guarantee policy. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can easily return them within 7 days of receipt for a refund* or exchange*.
Refund*: Merchandise (excluding floor sample clearance, sold “as-is”, custom ordered or promotional items) can be returned for a refund when received in our showroom within 7 days from the date you received them. The refund amount will be the purchase price of the item minus any applicable shipping fees along with a 20% restocking fee. The item must be in its original packaging/condition, undamaged and unassembled, just the way you received it. A pre-authorization of return must be arranged by phone or e-mail. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 1.800.822.0322 to receive a confirmation number for your return prior to shipping it back to us. We reserve the right to determine if an item is acceptable for return. Exchange*: Exchanges due to manufacturer defect will be replaced with the identical item. If item is discontinued or on back order, a similar item of equal value will be recommended or store credit will be provided. Clearance items (i.e floor sample, discontinued items) or sold ‘as-is’ items are not exchangeable and can not be returned. Cancellations: Purchases that has to be ordered from our vendors will have a limited cancellation time frame. Purchases that are cancelled prior to us placing our order with the vendors will not be assessed any fees. Cancellations after the order have been placed with our vendor will include a 20% restocking fee along with any shipping fees from our vendor regardless if the order has been received in our store or not. Refusing to accept an order during delivery or not picking up your order after the purchase will not be considered as a cancellation. Clearance items or sold “AS-IS” items can not be cancelled once a confirmation number or invoice number is issued. Custom upholstery items are made to order. Once submitted for order, these items can not be exchanged or cancelled. If a selected fabric is not available after the order is submitted, an alternative fabric will be recommended; only in this circumstance will the client be able to make changes to that order. RefundsRefunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment with the exception of cash. All cash purchases will be issued in the form of a company check. A restocking fee may apply, as well as any delivery or pick up fees. See guidelines above. Not Picking Up Your Order After 30 DaysWe are not responsible for holding your order over 30 days. For floor sample clearance, sold “as-is”, custom order or promotional items that was purchased and not picked up, your order may or may not be available after 30 days. Only if the item is no longer available, a store credit will be offered for you to select another item of equal value. No refunds on any floor sample clearance, sold “as-is”, custom order or promotional items.
For purchases of regularly stocked items that was not picked up after 30 days, your order may need to be reordered. If the item is no longer available or on back order, you will be offered store credit for another item of equal value. NO REFUNDS for orders not picked up over 30 days.
NOTE: A storage fee of 20% may be charged for orders not picked up over 30 days.
Lay Aways Left Over 6 MonthsWe are not responsible for lay aways over 6 months. Selected items on lay away may become discontinued or on back order. If an item is found to be discontinued or on back order, a store credit will be offered for another item of equal value. NO REFUNDS on lay away orders.
Damaged ClaimsIf you receive damaged or defective merchandise, please call your local showroom or customer service within 48 hours to file a claim.
We may need you to send a digital picture of the damaged area or bring the item back to the showroom for inspection. If you are unable to return the item to one of our showrooms, we will schedule a pick-up date/time with an additional fee, all fees are to be collected first and only issued a refund after confirming the item was a manufacturer defect. If upon arrival to your home, our driver inspects the item and finds it to be assembled wrong on your behalf; Living Collections will charge any and all applicable fees. For all other claims, after upon return, your merchandise will be inspected for severity of damage. We reserve the right to determine if the item is repairable or will need replacing. After inspecting the item one of our customer service associates will contact you informing you of our findings, should the finding reveal the item was assembled wrong or used improperly, the claim will be denied. If the item is repairable, we will send you the necessary parts, if the item needs replacing, we will call you to schedule a redelivery. We thank you for your valued cooperation in this process as it enables us to provide you with excellent customer care. Limited WarrantyLiving Collections offer a one-year factory limited warranty on all merchandise. The only exception applies to clearance items or items sold "as is" off the showroom floor. Warranties are void if merchandise has been relocated from original delivery address. Mattress manufacturers have their own limited warranties. Warranties can range in duration from 5-30 years. The warranty/care instruction booklet can be found in the bag the bedding is delivered in. Look for the warranty code on the law label. Match that code with the corresponding code on the warranty card and this will give you the length of your limited warranty. Proper care and maintenance must be followed to keep warranties from being voided. Original receipt must be present for warranty to be valid. |
