This is the store to shop if you're looking for stylish furniture at an affordable price. I was able to furnish my apartment without spending a fortune. All of my college friends love this store because they can afford extremely nice furniture and still be able to pay for tution. I love the friendly and welcoming service. There is too much to choose from. And with the excellent help, i had a lot of fun shopping.

I searched quite a few locations for a new couch and I am so glad I found this place online. I visited the store, and I confess, before entering, I was not sure what to expect. It defintely doesn't look like Macy's on the outside. Once inside, however, I knew I had found a hidden gem. I sat on all the couches, and found one that I absolutely loved. The woman who helped me was extemely warm and helpful, and at no time did I feel like she was trying to push anything on me.

The price was extremely competitive, and the 12 month interest free financing also made things much easier. Aside from finding a couch I love, the other part of my visit that made it so special was the people working there. Turns out it is a family run business, and I cannot imagine a nicer family. I will definitely continue to guve them my business, and I feel completely comfortable recommending them to friends and family as well.

Very happy with my purchase of a matching bed and chest, and similar style of desk and file cabinet.

Wonderful customer service. Very attentive to your needs and helpful suggestions. Skeptical about the quality of the products, they offered to order only the chest for me to see before I committed to anything. I appreciated this so much since no where else did this for me. I loved it. I was excited how they made quality so affordable. They really know their inventory and looked up the stock before setting up a delivery day. They gave me a three hour window 3pm-6pm for delivery and the delivery man called me around 4pm to let me know they were on their way and it would take about an hour.  Sure enough, they were in my house a bit before 5pm. The two delivery men were very careful and respectful with my new furniture and the narrow walls in my apartment. No damage. No more than an hour for them to come see my place, remove my old furniture as I requested, set up the desk, the bed and move in the rest of the furniture, and clean up. They left no boxes or any trash.
After reading awful reviews on furniture shopping in general, I was pretty apprehensive especially since i was set to get so much. but my first experience was very exciting=) i'm so grateful and i will be equally excited to shop there again=)

We just moved across the country to San Francisco and bought most of our new furniture from Living Collections.  They have a big selection displayed in their showroom and even more through catalog (though you can generally see similar designs on the showroom floor).  The furniture arrived on time and great quality - really great prices.  Hing helped us with our selection and coordinated the delivery and setup.  He was incredibly friendly and helpful - even changing pieces for us before and after delivery.  I haven't written many reviews, but I had to go out of my way to compliment LC based on a great experience.

Went there this past weekend. Everybody was very helpful. There selections were good and prices were great, but they did not have the bedroom set i was looking for.

I just spent three weeks looking for furniture for my new apartment and Living Collections is very likely the best furniture store in the entire city.

Free delivery for orders over $800, and they can deliver within a week! That alone is amazing. I didn't come across a single furniture store that could come close to that and I visited 22 other stores in Berkeley, 9th/Harrison, SOMA, North Beach, Van Ness, San Bruno, Geary St., Palo Alto and Westlake. The prices are very very reasonable and the construction is respectable. This store fills an excellent niche for those on a budget, but wanting a bit of style (not too much style!) and quality in their homes. Very few other stores can boast both quality and value in SF.

They have an impressive array of modern and contemporary furniture in the showroom and numerous catalogs that you can draw from. The staff will go the extra mile to make sure everything matches, fits in your house and is delivered quickly. Their sourcing is quite impressive. Most places couldn't deliver under four weeks out and Living Collections can do it WITHIN A WEEK.

This place is top notch for customer service. I have a hectic work schedule and they even stayed open after hours to help me finalize my purchase. Tuyet and Hing were absolutely wonderful to work with. If you want to buy respectable quality furniture at a GOOD VALUE, please check this place out. Ignore some of the pretentious reviews of other yelpers. I don't think it's fair when great places like these get 1 star reviews by people who expect to be waited on hand and foot, forget they live in SF where parking is difficult everywhere and have no problem dropping thousands on overpriced schlock.

As a general tip for furniture shopping, try a number of stores first before you get serious about buying. You will begin to see the same pieces in various stores for drastically different prices (literally the same catalog and manufacturer) and will begin to get a better idea of adequate construction, attention to detail, customer service and whether you're being ripped off. Make sure you factor in tax, delivery and setup charges as well as delivery time into the overall value proposition. Is saving $100 really worth an extra six weeks without a couch? Does paying $60 per piece actually seem reasonable?

To sum up, this place is awesome and should be checked out by anyone doing some serious furniture shopping in San Francisco. Especially if you think Room & Board, BoConcept, CB2 are nice to look at, but overpriced and LIMN and bimma loft are just hilarious.

Don't be afraid to order furniture from a discount store. At least not with this one. I've bought furniture from them multiple times and I couldn't be happier.

Selection: The "showroom" has somewhat of a limited selection, but it's only a small sample of what they have. I actually shopped on their website and walked in with my items already picked out and ready to order. You can order in store, over the phone and online (I've done all three). Their furniture selection is very stylish and modern, and they offer lots of options in dark wood which I love. They offer everything from bedroom sets, livingroom furniture, accessories, arm chairs, diningroom tables.....you name it.

Delivery: Delivery is generally set up for a week or so ahead of time, give or take a few days and depending on product availability. And, the delivery charge was only $35. One of the cheapest I've seen. They also offer white glove service for a few extra bucks, which includes assembly and removal of boxes, packaging, etc.

Cost: Amazingly cheap, and you get good quality! I always do my research before I buy, and I find that furniture places often buy from the same suppliers, which is why you might find the exact same sofa in three different stores under three different brand names. Well, Living Collection's prices beat them all. I paid roughly $400 for two nightstands and a 5 foot tall dresser. I bought them 4 years ago and they still look brand new. More recently, I bought a tan suede futon for $160 which is actually pretty comfy and, more importantly, very stylish.

Customer Service: No complaints. My representative was very thorough and even called me back once to explain that he had failed to apply a discount he was supposed to give me. I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise, so I appreciated his honesty. That won me over as a customer and I would definitely come back.

If you're furniture shopping, this place definitely deserves a visit. If you're unsure, check out their website first and do a little comparison shopping. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)

Living Collections really went the extra mile.

While the exact piece we were interested in wasn't in the showroom, the saleswoman was incredibly helpful. She helped us visualize the dining table we desired by using furniture of similar dimensions, and styles. She even set up place settings so we could see how many people could comfortably be seated!

We are extremely happy with the service and the price. We opted for the table to be delivered and constructed for a very nominal 70 dollar charge.

While the clean up wasn't immaculate, the guys spent almost 2.5 hours constructing an extremely heavy and complex table. Probably the best 35 bucks I have spent this month!

Living collections totally deserves attention and a look if you are in the market for a dining table.

I love this place the Asian lady that helped me and my husband was very helpful. I'm very satisfy with the price and with our new leather couch.
The delivery people were awesome too they came, they built, they cleaned up, they took the boxes and they left. I'm super stoked about this couch oh yeah and they delivered it to us the next day because i needed more seating for my baby shower and the delivery was free.

love it!!!!

I have just purchased bedroom furniture and after a few glitches here and there, I have to say dealing with the group at Living Collections was great. They try very hard to help you through problems and I would recommend this store to anyone. I am pleased with my purchase as well.

I had a great shopping experience here, and I highly recommend this store to anyone in the market for reasonably priced furniture. Their prices are competitive, and although they wouldn't bargain much, they did throw in items like free delivery and a small discount since I purchased so much.

Their sales people are great. They're not pushy, but they are around to help you and answer questions. In fact, when I found out one of my items was damaged, I simply sent in a few pictures, and they delivered a new set to me - my friend ordered bad furniture from a high end store and couldn't even get this type of service. I was very impressed to say the least.

Delivery was an even better story. They came on time and even called before to update me on which end of the time window they would show up. I didn't pay for set up, but the delivery guys stayed around to take away all the packing materials so I wouldn't have to deal with throwing away the items. Also, they put all the pieces in the right areas so I wouldn't have to move too many things around. They were really careful and didn't hit anything in the house at all, despite the large number of pieces they had to move. In addition, when they came back to redeliver and replace one of the damaged items, they even put it together for me before leaving.

I highly recommend this place if you're in the market for some new furniture, no matter where you live in the Bay Area!

WOW! excellent experience.  I love this place.  They are professional, they are willing to give discounts, they attend to their customers.

We relocated recently and it has been an interesting adventure trying to buy some furniture. (ref: my Jennifer Convertibles review)

I can't believe a sofa of a decent size are over $1300 at most places.  and then i have to wait 4-6 wks for delivery... NO THANKS!  I mean, I've even gone to a consignment store and it's the same story!!!

I was about to buy used stuff on craigslist when I took a trip to the city to furniture 4 less.  The location isn't the most ritzy, but they have a wide variety and the prices are reasonable!  I bought 6 pieces of furniture and they are going to be delivered and assembled at my apartment in THREE DAYS!  We were ecstatic!

Great value! I got the same exact dining table here for $200 less than Oysterbed Home Furnishing's advertised price.  Extremely short turnaround time for delivery as well.  They had my table in 3 days.

They do have a mix of high quality hardwood furniture as well as compressed "particle" board furniture with veneer, so make sure you do your homework first.  Both types are priced right.

I highly recommend this furniture store jewel of the outer mission.  The only downside is parking (which is a real downer in most parts of the city).

Excellent service, great prices, quality furniture, next day or sometimes same day delivery- it's obvious that this business tries hard to make the customer's experience a good one. They are very accomodating and extremely professional. I furnished my condo entirely with Living Collections (formerly known as Furniture 4 Less), although it took me a while to pick out furniture since the selection is really good both in the store and the catalogues.
The neighborhood might fool you into thinking that you're in a sketchy place, but trust me, it is not. I am definitely a life-long customer.

Okay, these guys are great. Good prices and very helpful. We ordered the wrong size bed-cal-king instead a regular king. They came earlier than expected for the delivery so we sent them back and had to change our order. No problem. They left and our new bed would be coming.

Then the day we were supposed to get our bedroom set delivered we ended up being out-of-town. No problem, we got a storage charge but it was all so easy.

Finally we get our bedroom set and we love it. Good quality and a great price. The store looks a little ghetto but it's good stuff in there. Go to their website and do some shopping beforehand. I think a lot of other people do that since we saw two couples come in and show them a picture of what they wanted and put in their orders.

Fast and easy. I like it. We're going back for the rest of our furniture.

This is the furniture store to go to if you are looking for great value, great selection and expeditious delivery.  Their selection goes beyond what you see on the floor and what they have listed on their website.  When I couldn't find what I was looking for, they whipped out a bunch of catalogs with even more furniture.

I just bought a house and could not justify spending $4K+ on a sectional sofa at Pottery Barn that would take 2-3 months to get.  Tuyet was so helpful, I told her what I was looking for and she worked with one of her vendors to custom make a sofa to my exact specifications for almost half the price of Pottery Barn's sofa AND it was ready in 2 weeks!  The sectional is super comfy, very well made and gets lots of compliments from my guests.  I ended up getting my home office from them as well since they had the modular desk that I wanted for a fraction of the cost compared to PB.

They even carried the round pedestal dining table that I bought from Home Depot Expo for hundreds less than what I paid.  I wanted to kick myself in the butt for that one.

Definitely check this place out if you are looking for furniture.

This place is better than Ikea.  My boyfriend and I were able to get a decently sized CUSTOM sectional for less than $2,000.  On top of that, they carry a wide selection of seating, bed sets, and dining sets.  The service is friendly and the prices are more than reasonable.
